Cedars Live/Work Lofts – Harwood Studio Lofts

Harwood Studio Lofts – Opening September 2013

We have some exciting news for artists, creatives & Cedars residents looking for affordable live/work lofts in Dallas. The Railroad Studios in the Cedars are now under new ownership and are re-opening in September of 2013.  The Railroad Studios were originally developed by the late Bennett Miller, best known for restoring Dallas’ historic buildings as residential lofts. Up until 2011, these lofts were fully functioning and 100% occupied. After decades of residential use, the City of Dallas discovered the building had never been zoned for residential use, which lead to the forced closure of the Railroad Studios.

Our team just had a chance to tour these lofts, which will be re-opened as Harwood Studio Lofts. The new owners have a great vision for reclaiming this building to its original residential use. We constantly have people looking for live/work lofts in Dallas under $1000/month. We are excited to have 12 new listings that will all be available this September under $1000/month, and 1 larger unit for $1150. They are all split-level lofts created for live/work tenants.
