We are so excited to head out to the newest event that everyone is talking about!\u00a0 After tons of planning and preparing, the Dallas Design District Market opens tonight!\u00a0 It is sure to be everything anyone expects from the part of town that the New York Times calls \u201cDallas\u2019 \u201cit\u201d district.\u00a0 Our friend, Brandon Castillo, the brains that created the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market<\/a>, has been working on this\u00a0project for a long while to make his vision come alive.\u00a0 While everyone looks forward to and loves the one in Deep Ellum, we want to have more events like that one. \u00a0By taking the concept of the popular outdoor market in Deep Ellum and recreating it in the Design District, the result is the Dallas Design District Market.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

From\u00a05 pm\u00a0to 10 pm, Cole will be shut down between Dragon and Slocum and set up to host an evening of fun to celebrate the Design District. \u00a0Some of our favorite local businesses and artists will be there to display and sell their wares.\u00a0 Look for entertainment in the streets with live local bands who want to get in on the fun.\u00a0 Some of our favorite restaurants like the Butcher\u2019s Son, the Easy Slider Truck<\/a> and more will be on hand to provide our favorite foods while we enjoy some libation from the Deep Ellum Brewing Company<\/a>, the Design District\u2019s own Peticolas Brewing<\/a>, and more.\u00a0 And like any other outdoor market, there will be tons of great kid activities.\u00a0 This is truly a family affair.<\/p>\n

We love the up and coming areas of Dallas like the Design District and Deep Ellum. \u00a0The outdoor markets are the perfect way to let everyone know just how fun and unique they are.\u00a0 Located just outside downtown Dallas, the Design District is an eclectic part of town filled with art galleries, designer showrooms, upscale restaurants, loft apartments and more.\u00a0 By hosting the Design District Market, the goal is to introduce the area to people who have not yet ventured here as well as to celebrate it with the residents who call it home.<\/p>\n
