You may remember the story about a 5-alarm warehouse fire<\/a> near Expo Park in December of 2014. \u00a0While there were no injuries sustained during this\u00a0incident (it was a vacant warehouse building), more than 20 residents of a neighboring building were forced out of their homes just 10 days before Christmas. More than 15 residential lofts were ruined due to exterior fire damage & extensive flooding from the sprinkler system.<\/p>\n

For the over a year now, the owner has worked on restoring the building while making\u00a0some nice updates\u00a0along the way. The restoration included all new windows on one side of the building, new A\/C units, a new roof, updated sprinkler system, restored hardwoods & upgraded kitchens & bathrooms. Fortunately the original loft-style floor plans & historic brick walls were mostly unaffected by the fire. Best of all, the owner was able to acquire the property that burned and has plans to add beautiful courtyard & additional parking.<\/p>\n

Now that it is finally time to re-open this building, we are excited to help the owner begin the pre-leasing process.\u00a0It is currently open and available for tours. The contractor is still working on some finishing touches, but they are estimating move-ins between\u00a0February 15th and March 1st.<\/p>\n

**We’ll be adding more\u00a0photos that feature the updated white-on-white kitchens & bathrooms complete with quartz countertops, modern cabinets & white whirlpool appliances. The units weren’t quite picture ready when we toured last week.<\/p>\n

***UPDATE 3\/14\/2016 – This building is now 100% leased. At this point we do have similar listings in the same neighborhood, but it will be Feb\/March of 2017 before we have many options\u00a0available in this building again. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
